GNOME is fantastic and has a lot of common with MacOS. From my standpoint, the biggest thing you lose is the headphones sync between devices which can be an irreplaceable feature if you have enough devices to share them between. Other than that, it feels like mostly small potatoes. SMS Message sync can be replaced with qtconnect, Google Voice or the Android Messages web app… there’s options. Chrome is mostly a decent replacement for Safari, especially if you have an Android TV or Chromecasts and all that. Basically, just prepare to take a few giant steps backwards in terms of overall polish, and dope cross-device capabilities. You get to use GNOME, though - and that’s one or two smaller steps forward in terms of clean user experience.
For me, it was that Hogwarts game that just came out. A few years back, I abandoned PC gaming as I was pretty impressed with my Series X and I had just invested in a GTX 1080 and was fuming that RTX had basically obsoleted my card out of the gate. Fast forward to a few months ago, I have a Series X and a Steam Deck and my girlfriend wants Hogwarts Legacy. I choose Series X because I care about graphics, but _she_ cares about portability so she never plays the game. It’s stupid, I need one store that runs everywhere so naturally I just need to double down on steam and commit to PC gaming. It’s fine, the system runs docker really well and Windows 11 23H2 is worth having around.
You could always “trade” him for an item of comparable value, and if one breaks you keep the other. I mean, if he’s your brother and he’s going to do it anyways, you might as well mitigate the issue by planning to recoup your losses. I mostly agree with “fuck him, lock it away” but if he’s going to win anyways why not find some balance in the agreement?
Bill Gates is doing his part, kind of blown away that people refuse to acknowledge it.
There must be some fish-out-of-water element, >!so I suspect Mario and Luigi are avatars of people in the real world or something!<. Still, even deducing that, this feels like a bit of a miss. Mario with the wrong voice just doesn’t feel like Mario
Here I thought the purpose of Picard was a thoughtful introspection about a great leader we all believe in confronting a harsh new era paralleling our own. I don’t think it’s important that DS9 viewers feel seen, I think it’s important that they write a good story finally. This show feels like little more than a backdrop for an actor reunion.
Better to rip off the band-aid, otherwise you’ll just ignore it indefinitely and lose all your progress. It’s probably not as a bad as you think it is.
She gets no points, incredible how we gloss over the drunk driving part
Let’s pay twice the price for a year-old game because… of some award? I don’t know if Ubisoft really thought this through.
I’m a big fan of turning a non-motivator around. If you hate eating healthy, find foods you love that happen to be healthy. I eat a lot of Mexican lately, chicken burritos seem fine and three Taco Bell tacos is only 600c. I also find salads as a meal replacement is very helpful. You can double up on your dinner calories if you phone in lunch with a salad. Also, I started drinking a ton of water in hopes that it might help with skin elasticity but the side effect to that is you fill your stomach immediately.
Love your app, and would love a dynamic island
Are jetbrain’s IDEs still bloated java apps that slow to a crawl when you try to use a large codebases? Last I recall, they were still trying to hobble together a vscode competitor because their base IDE was in clear need of a rewrite.
Personally, the one file with html anchor concept just seems like your hardcoded a webpage. I think it’s a nice theme though, and the source does seem well formed. I would reconsider Jekyll or another static generator, seems separating your content from the presentation layer is the last step here. Either way, good work!
How will the employees get to work if they have evacuated their houses and communities? How will they be safe if the roads are covered in hazards and normal traffic isn’t allowed to operate? This letter says nothing on how they’ll secure their safety, or even if they’ll give them time and a half for their efforts. Seems to me that Lowe’s certainly has the resources to do this all correctly, are they?
What an annoying read. There is no secret handshake that will make your friends like you, obviously your cheapness annoys them. You can either own your cheapness and find more accepting friends, or you can try and emulate them to try and win them back over. Either way, I too would probably get tired of some holier than thou act from a guy who can’t even afford food. Imagine if I spent weeks trying to find the perfect beer to share with my friends and we’re all talking about our adventures finding it and you’re like “this was sixty cents at the corner store, you guys are ridiculous' I’d probably make fun of you too.
Seems like he helped usher in this age, maybe he does have a responsibility to try and fix what the Internet age broke?
OP is an idiot. What’s actually going to happen is that I and all my countrymen are going to fund a pool that pays doctors when we see them. Doctors will want money, so in an effort to get paid will make sure they can charge that pool whenever I come around. At no point will guns be involved, and I can assure you doctors really like money.
Jimmy Johns on Coleman, those guys are handing you the sub while your still trying to pay
The large glowing neon OPEN sign was my first clue they’d serve me noodles
The real question is does it handle HDMI-CEC? If the TV is off, or on another input, and you plug the deck into this, does the TV respond and select the right input? If so, then this thing is worth 10 JSAUX docks.
