As someone on Facebook said when I critiqued Disco, it’s cool if you don’t like it as long as you don’t try and ruin it for those who do. That’s basically my approach, I’ve loved enough Trek to know that I don’t like Disco, and I suppose a silver lining is that it can be a gateway drug to the rest of the franchise. It doesn’t really matter, 90’s Trek stands on it’s own so Picard and Disco can’t really tarnish it.

As a life-long South Carolinian, I can vouch for Rodney Scotts that place has incredible food. I’d suggest checking out the CoC area, King St. and the like, plenty to do and see. The battery and the old market are also great choices.

This is a total gem, probably the best Trek commercial I’ve seen. Nice little cherry on top that it’s selling something so thoroughly obsolete as a land-line based long distance plan.

I switched from my mainstay Fedora 32 with GNOME to KDE Neon about a month ago, after playing with a couple of desktop options. I’m about to go into the reboot after installing this update, but so far KDE plus Latte Dock has been a great place to live. I decided that even with the older release of Ubuntu, that the real goal for getting the latest packages was to get new destkop packages, and Neon is basically as fresh as it gets as far as that goes. Still, it’s nice they finally updated to 20.02.

I’d also make plans to not go in gas stations, use rest stops, not just outside of Myrtle Beach but basically in all of SC. I’d generally consider a straight-shot to the condo. I also think I’d do grocery delivery, Myrtle Beach sounds like a shitshow these days.
