I own the Belkin and it’s great, but it is slower than the Anker. Its an overnight charger so I guess it doesn’t really matter
Snapdragons are the best laptops for the worst operating system! I bought one for my SO and I’d buy it again easily.
In fairness I don’t think the Steam Machine performs better than consoles, but my PC running SteamOS plugged into my TV certainly does!
Kind of racist, in hindsight. I would have preferred him to be Captain or an Admiral to avoid the optics, seems like a misstep that the writers even grimace at.
Kanye, Eminem and probably Pac or Dre if I only could commit to three
Hot take but people still do all this stuff. You guys act like we all live in a white non-corporal void now that phones are a thing.
I upgraded to full fat Verizon to get better connectivity, but I’m not hating. Cell and watch service for $45 or whatever it was is a great deal. The spotty service eventually broke me though!
I like to be able to use the bare tablet, lately I’ve enjoyed the MOFT https://a.co/d/il9me2t
They could try setting their future space Sci-fi in the universe‘s present day instead of yet another prequel or far future slop. Please just make Star Trek again!
The meat example muddied it a bit but the beginning was a level of clarity that should be out there more
When my funeral comes, please don’t use fireworks
I was under the impression that the open nvidia drivers couldn’t run most games, so a little surprised to see it suggested. So be wary!
4070 and the 9950x and everything plays fine maxed out at 4k, I scale down DOOM Dark Ages to 3k on my 5k2k Ultrawide with low RTX settings so it can’t do everything. I’m coming from a 7800x3d and it seems like it games slightly better
Bazzite is surprisingly good for development, runs great
Random display issues can be normal. I never encountered this though but at least for me (Nvidia RTX 4070) I see weirdness sometimes between games or if I plug in an extra monitor during a session. It gets better over time, Nvidia support is still new. Other chips are more stable but the same basic rules still apply
I’m a regular at half the restaurants in town and can confirm the social awkwardness is palpable
SG1 is easily as good as TNG
I dream about this setup, I have a desktop also running bazzite and it feels like too much to manage, I just want the handheld. How is it in day to day usage, stable? Is it frustrating to get it working generally?
Brew is a good way to get lower level things, and I’ve had success installing vscode and setting up devcontainers to work with podman.
The sky is the limit, you should def go talk to someone about this and not bottle it up.
