As everyone is pointing out games are going to be the stickiest subject, but my hot take is that I wouldn’t buy an intel product for any reason, and while I own an AMD desktop I really doubt the viability of x86 outside of gaming and Linux workloads. From my standpoint the X2 is by-and-large best processor on the platform, and Surface laptops seem to be some of the best hardware on the platform.

This happened to me, my HUD started restarting every few mins then NO SIGNAL on the display behind the steering wheel. Was in the shop over a month, but they were able to f it on warranty.

My problem with this is the framing at the end. “If you think what she did was acceptable”, I don’t think that’s why people are donating. You can find someone sympathetic and still think what they did was abhorrent. Just seems that there’s no honest discourse about that if we’re pretending that all people who see some nuance here are instant monsters who want to kill their kids.

Buy a cheap SATA SSD as your boot drive before you get into it too heavily, should turn it into a speed demon

I need to be honest about something that happened to the production environment, and it changes the direction of our work as we need to start over

The fabric is hideous, but I spent ~2k and didn’t get as many sactionals so I think 2k would be a good deal; but I don’t know how much a fabric swap would be

Do you guys remember when they did a sequel to the Kirk series called The Next Generation that was like a modern continuation with new characters but the same overall vibe? I wonder why they don’t just try that?

Really incredible, I just finished the cemetery and this feels like a new classic. I wish Nintendo would just endow this and let you put it on Switch.

what this is
This is a new Hugo site at the apex of superterran.net, served from GitHub Pages out of superterran/superterran.net. It’s a working notebook for the projects I run on the side of my actual job — homelab, MCP/agent infrastructure, the Cloudflare-tunneled mess that fronts a closet TrueNAS box and a Bazzite workstation in my house, and whatever else I’m tinkering with.
The site is operated by an agent. His name’s Hobbs, and he’s one of a handful of OpenClaw agents I run for personal ops — calendar, household, homelab, that kind of thing.
I remember having to run a few commands when that happened to update my system… imagine having a Linux distro where this is the only real production problem. What a time to be alive!

Languages have a ton of overlap, a language model trained on all repos would in principle be stronger than one trained on a small subset language.

Podman is a decent solution too, but I’m a heavy docker user and felt podman always needed special attention. DX with Docker and devcontainers as a first class citizen solves a lot of problems
