Honestly, the real argument is that if you install Arch with the GNOME packages, the default experience on Arch doesn’t feel as clean. For example, you’ll an have an administrator account at login, kind of gross. There’s also a bunch of junk in the activities menu, it’s generally just dirtier. Fedora is great and it’s my go to distro but Arch is nicer on temperamental hardware.

Most notably, in my mind, is how vanilla Fedora is. You’ll find no first party apps and settings tools, Fedora is pretty much comes the way the GNOME guys intended it. Other distros are customized to hell

My guess is Fedora is using a newer kernel that supports your hardware better. Would probably see the same gains in the other distros if you aligned the configurations.
